Graham Hancock - Archeological Dogma
Updated: May 12, 2019
This week on the podcast Andie and I are chatting about the new findings by Graham Hancock. He's written a new book, America Before: The Key to Earth's Lost Civilization.
What really struck a cord with the Bunker Buddies, is how a story can take over what we call scientific. Graham does a great job of pointing out that the science and what we're saying is true just aren't quite adding up. His term for it is Archeological Dogma.
There was a previous view of how things were and that's the way they were. Civilization was born in Mesopotamia and eventually came to the Americas, but with our new LiDAR technology and recent discoveries in the Amazonian rainforest, things just don't seem to add up.
So what do we do? Well, we've talked about it a bit, but it comes down to really taking stake of what we think we know is true. Where did we get those beliefs? How has that impacted other beliefs we might have? What would happen if we let ourselves think a bit differently?
Thinking differently, that's a fun world to live in.
